Laura Colón was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. When unexpected surgery was the only life-saving option upon being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, Laura turned to the support of her family as well as friends from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. Five years have past since then and Laura is both proud and honored to be a part of such a pro-active organization striving toward a cure for Crohn’s and Colitis. Laura is currently earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree towards the pursuit of a professional career as a contemporary dancer.
