Hi! My name is Kaelyn Meek and I am a native of Washington State. This will be my third season with Team Challenge.
After graduating from UW I moved to Rome, Sydney, Phoenix, and then Denver and just recently moved back to Seattle. I absolutely love to travel, but I am happy to be living back home. I am an avid runner and very passionate about health and fitness. I have run 8 half marathons, 3 marathons, and done 2 triathlons. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist in Arizona and Colorado and plan to get my license in Washington soon. I am currently in graduate school working on my Masters in Sports and Exercise Psychology and I am looking forward to helping each of you achieve your goals. Reach for the stars; you are capable of anything you put your mind to. I look forward to a fun season!

Walk Coach Barbara Reisinger
barbarareisinger@hotmail.com or 425.445.6408
Barbara is returning for her second season as Walk Coach with Team Challenge Northwest. She has participated in five Team Challenge half-marathons as well as several other half-marathons. For over a decade she delightedin running competitively. After one too many surgeries stemming from her battle with ulcerative colitis, and too much wear and tear on her body as a teenage endurance racer, she decided to hang up the running laces and look to walking as her main locomotion.
There are distinct differences in running and walking and Barbara has learned about them not only from a personal perspective but also by self-education. This February she participated in a racewalking clinic lead by Team Challenge’s own National Walking Coach Dave McGovern, aformer racewalking National Champion.
Barbara is looking forward to supporting all levels of walkers, as well as runners, in achieving their goals for this season. She is happy to be a resource of help whether it is to answer questions regarding walking or discussing ulcerative colitis.

Run Coach Bill Johnson
dubrie@gmail.com 425.281.1195
Bill is in his second year of coaching for Team Challenge but he has been running his whole life. Born from a family of runners, he ran his first 5K at age 6 and hasn't stopped running on the road, trail, or the soccer field since. Always looking for new challenges and to test his endurance, Bill is a participant in Urban Adventure Races, has climbed the stairs of the Sears Tower in Chicago - and back down all 92 stories, and is aspiring to climb both Mt. Rainier and Mt. Everest (someday). Having completed many 1/2 marathons, the Chicago Marathon, and too many other races to count, Bill is primed and ready to help you reach all of your goals and get you across the finish line!
