Lou Christou-Run Coach

Lou Christou

Lou Christou is a fully insured, certified personal trainer. As a fitness professional, he is pursuing a life-long passion to help others lead healthy lifestyles. For him, one of the greatest of life’s rewards is the knowledge that he has made a positive change in someone’s life. It is his conviction that fitness is not only about going to the gym, or getting out for a run during a lunch-break. Rather, fitness is a comprehensive approach: a puzzle composed of several pieces. In order for that puzzle to be complete, all of the pieces must fit into their place: exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management, rest, and spiritual well being.

As a personal trainer, he specializes in strength training, functional fitness, aerobic/cardiovascular conditioning, and core development. Taking the time to listen to clients, determining their goals, assessing their level of fitness, and formulating a plan to take them where they want to go: that is how it all works.

Lou leads an active lifestyle. An avid runner and multi-sport athlete, he has participated in recreational competitions for over fifteen years, ranging from 5K’s to marathons to half-Ironman triathlons. In addition, he possesses a passion for the outdoors, and enjoys hiking and long walks with his dog, Lykko.
