Honorees

  What is an Honoree?

An Honoree is someone who provides inspiration to our Team Challenge participants throughout the season. Honorees serve as symbols of strength and motivation, support and determination. An Honoree is someone who is currently being treated for Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.

Honorees have the unique opportunity to connect with individuals who have committed themselves to raising funds for the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. They will share their strength and courage with participants who are training to complete their endurance event.

Our honorees for the 2011 Las Vegas Rock n' Roll 1/2 Marathon are:

Like Michael & Lexi, many of you may have your own struggles with these diseases or a loved one you want to train and fundraise in honor of. We will honor Michael, Lexi, and all of your personal honorees throughout our Vegas season.
The challenges they face will inspire us as we go through 15 weeks of training, fundraising and the 13.1 miles challenge!
