We are currently forming walk and run teams to begin training for the ING Miami Half Marathon which takes place January 25, 2009.
We will be holding Information Meetings in September where you can meet your coaches, future teammates and honorees; as well as hear more about this amazing program, ask questions and sign up for the team!
* Please RSVP for the Information Meeting of your choice by e-mailing Jeff Kennedy at
jkennedy@ccfa.org or calling 412-823-8272 x224.
When you train with Team Challenge you will receive everything you need to cross the finish line. In return you will raise funds to help the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation reaches its mission: To cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
Why Should I join the Team for the ING Miami Half Marathon??
Training by Experienced and Friendly Coaches
- The opportunity to meet and exceed your athletic goals (Can you say "New Year's Resolution"??)
- A connection with an honored patient so you know who you're doing it all for
- Tools and Tips for your Fundraising Efforts – you’ll even get your own free web page for fundraising support
- A t-shirt when you sign up for the challenge, plus a racing singlet for the half-marathon
- A connection with a team of walkers and runners who have the same goals as you do and truly want to make a difference
...and Probably the Best Part!!
- TRAVEL TO MIAMI IN JANUARY!!!
- 3 night hotel Accommodations at the event
- Pasta party the night before the race, so you and your friends can load up on the essential carbs
- Team Challenge victory celebration after the race with music, fun and friends
